Came here for a birthday celebration recently. The interior was cozy and the atmosphere vibrant, as they had live music. The violin player was fabulous and really added to our dining experience. Our server, Serenity, seemed very experienced and was most efficient! Their schnitzels were massive and tasty. There is free street parking out front.

Went with a Hungarian friend who raved about the food. Absolutely fun place in decor. Family owned business with exceptional service and attention. Had a weiner schnitzel the size of a serving platter that was delicious, with home fries and red cabbage hiding underneath . Be aware of ordering too much food. The portions are massive (means you get to take the rest home and enjoy it again, the next day). They have a band that plays Friday and Saturday night. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, given it's on Yonge Street, but certainly, you shouldn't be daunted. Well worth the visit. Would absolutely go again and recommend

I came here with my family for an early Father’s Day dinner. And was blown away by the service, quality of the food and value that you get for the price! We were a party of 4 and we ordered the platter for 2, I can assure you it’s not a platter for 2 but a platter for 6. We are all great eaters and we still ended up bringing 4 take out containers back with us. Was an exceptional experience and we will all be back very soon!

Huge portions for the prices, food is hearty and delicious, live music with a violinist who plays any song you ask for. We had a great time. The furniture is old and the tables and cutlery are not fancy, but the paintings on the walls make up for it. If you are tired of franchise restaurants and want something actually authentic in Vaughan/Richmond Hill - this place is it. We will be back, thank you!

We dined there twice in the past month, the food was delicious as always, the portions were huge, and Serenity, our server both times, was efficient, attentive, and engaging. The second evening included live music, which would have been more enjoyable without the mic on the violin. Pictured is my wife’s appetizer, Hungarian Goulash Soup and my entree, Hunter Schnitzel (wiener schnitzel covered in cheese overlaying vegetables, home fries and red cabbage).

Authentic, fresh, and delicious food! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that set the tone for a fantastic meal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Every dish arrived piping hot and full of rich, authentic flavors. The portions were beyond generous, making this a great spot for sharing and trying a bit of everything. Each bite was better than the last, and you could tell everything was made fresh and with care. We ordered platter for 2 - which is enough for 4 We especially loved how the dishes were served as soon as they were ready, ensuring everything was at its peak. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Hungarian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit.

It is one of my favorite local family restaurants for Hungarian food: goulash, schnitzel, langos, tripe, dumplings, etc. On weekends, they have live music that creates a lively and warm atmosphere. Their service is robust and excellent! Food options are plentiful, and their portions are big! I highly recommend reservations as the place gets popular on weekends. As for food, my favorites are as follows; - langos, nice and cheesy! - traditional Hungarian tripe stew - Holstein schnitzel - cabbage rolls, one of the best I've had. - beef goulash, can't go wrong with this dish! Overall an excellent place to try!
